Philadelphia Detox and Rehab Facility

The first stage of the recovery process involves undergoing medical detox to flush out all traces of drugs and/or alcohol from your system. It’s highly recommended that detox occurs under medical supervision, at a professional treatment and rehab center. Detox can be extremely uncomfortable and potentially life-threatening due to withdrawal symptoms that are often experienced when substance use is discontinued, especially for those individuals who have developed a chemical dependency.

We accept in- and out-of-state patients and proudly support military veterans. Landmark Recovery does not discriminate on the basis or age, sex or gender.

Our detox program will guide you through detox as comfortably and as safely as possible. Our compassionate clinical team will provide around-the-clock health care and administer medications that can help manage the cravings and negative effects of withdrawal.

All rehab clients will be provided with personalized treatment plans that include a variety of science-based treatment modalities for treating the body, mind, and spirit. Depending on your specific needs, your customized treatment program may include counseling, behavioral therapy, medication-assisted treatment, meditation and mindfulness therapies, inpatient rehab, health and wellness education, nutrition therapy, fitness and exercise programs, and recreational activities

Life Inside Landmark Recovery of Philadelphia

Here’s what the admission process and life at Landmark Recovery will be like.

Patients or their families will speak to an admissions specialist to ask questions or learn more about the admissions process. Once both parties come to a mutual understanding on all questions, patients will enter the treatment center. This is when patients begin the intake process. Basic information about the patient is gathered  and the patient is oriented on the rehab process and rules.

Medical staff will evaluate patients during the intake process to determine their condition and make medical recommendations based off their findings. Doctors build a personal profile for the patient so they can track their treatment and progress throughout their time with us. Detox begins next, where we manage the withdrawals to prevent serious harm to patients as they begin the recovery journey.

Inpatient rehab patients are required to check themselves in while outpatient rehab patients don’t have to. We require that, pending a doctor’s recommendation, all patients suffering from heavy addictions go through inpatient rehab. This is a firm recommendation we make to properly monitor the medical condition of those detoxing and participating in therapy and counseling. Inpatient rehab is required for those who can’t pass a drug test while participating in outpatient rehab.

After detoxing is finished (usually five to seven days), patients will then spend around six weeks taking part in the residential program. While staying at the rehab center, multiple types of therapy will be provided along with recreational time to focus on the self. Once patients finish their residential treatment with us, we provide them with access to continued support through alumni programs and weekly therapy sessions at no cost.

Daily Inpatient Rehab Schedule

During inpatient rehab at Landmark Recovery you’ll follow a schedule that includes intensive therapy, counseling and classes to help you achieve sobriety. You’ll have some free time and three meals a day. We offer two hours of individual therapy each week, along with group counseling and classes to help patients learn how to overcome their addictions. Our patient engagement specialists are always nearby to answer any questions and provide support. A daily schedule helps patients focus on healing, building inner strength and developing the skills they need to stay sober.

What Landmark Recovery Graduates Are Saying

My life has been forever changed by Landmark! I owe my new life to the knowledge I gained there. I completed the IOP program and started participating in the Alumni program. I have to say that the Alumni program is my favorite because it really goes the extra mile and shows you how to have fun while being sober. It's so great to have real friendships that I have made while on this life journey.

-Chris G.

When I walked into Landmark, I knew it was unlike any place I had been in my past attempts. The structure, curriculum, the genuine empathy towards residents, and being guided by people with first hand knowledge and experience of the path we're on made the difference. Facing the world after can be overwhelming for some, but with the information, tools, confidence and support Landmark provided, the reality is less intimidating.

-David P.

The compassion that I received upon entering Landmark Recovery was overwhelming. The education that I received in regards to my disease was more than I could have ever anticipated. I was able to meet like minded people that understood every aspect of what I was going through, including the staff. I would have never met any of these people who I now consider friends had it not been for Landmark.

You're Not Alone

Substance abuse continues to persist in the state of Pennsylvania, including addictions to alcohol, illicit drugs, prescription drugs, or a combination of these.

Any illicit drug use that hinders an individual’s personal development is an issue we specialize in at Landmark Recovery. Give us a call at (215) 261-5235 to learn more.

Cost of Addiction and Substance Abuse Care

Landmark Recovery of Philadelphia will strive to be one of the most affordable drug and alcohol rehab centers in Pennsylvania. We desire to make addiction recovery affordable and attainable to anyone who needs it. The cost of medical detox and rehab varies from person to person. Treatment plans, medications, levels of care and insurance coverage all play a factor in determining how much addiction recovery could cost.

Some people delay addiction treatment because they believe it’s too expensive. But the costs associated with an untreated addiction far outweigh the cost of a recovery center. The cost of drugs and alcohol used by someone with an addiction typically surpasses the price of treatment for substance abuse. There are also emotional and physical costs, including health problems, broken relationships and poor self-image that often accompany an addiction. While detox and rehab are an investment, it’s one that pays off. Sobriety leads to a better life.

Deferred Payment

Landmark Recovery offers payment plans which can help make paying for substance abuse treatment more manageable. Details of repayment options are specific to each individual circumstance, based on a variety of factors. For the most accurate information on your personal repayment options, we recommend that you speak with our admissions team by calling us at 888-448-0302.

Affordability

If we’re going to treat people in this country who suffer from substance use disorders, then one of our goals should be to make addiction treatment as affordable as possible. Cars and houses are wildly expensive, but getting the right addiction treatment is priceless. No matter what the cost is, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to make affordable treatment available for those who need it. We’re also extremely proud to accept Medicaid treatment through our Praxis locations across the Midwest and beyond.

Alcohol and Drug Detox

No matter what substance you use, be it drugs or alcohol, detox from long-term addiction can be a hard road. Landmark Recovery of Philadelphia will provide safe, medically sound detox treatment that will manage your withdrawal and start you on the road to recovery.

Learn more about Medical Detox

For many individuals, detox represents the most difficult stage of the recovery journey. This is because as addictive substances are being flushed out of the body, the brain typically goes into withdrawal as it adjusts to normal functioning without the presence of drugs or alcohol. Depending on the substance of abuse and length and severity of addiction, you can experience a range of unpleasant withdrawal symptoms when you stop drinking or using drugs.
