Landmark Recovery therapists are dedicated individuals who are highly adaptable and focused on providing a solution for a positive patient outcome. No two days are the same, and flexibility and team member mentality are highly sought-after skill sets at Landmark Recovery. Sometimes everything goes according to plan, and sometimes patients are resistant to treatment. Taking time to care for our patients may require therapists to reprioritize their schedule, but this is what our successful therapists do: provide intentional, personalized care for our patients. In group therapy situations, our therapists think quickly on their feet, respond appropriately to the energy in the room, and draw connections between the group discussion and Landmark’s curriculum. Therapists are an integral part of the Treatment Team, consisting of the Clinical Director and Medical Staff. In this role, therapists will be both a knowledgeable, coachable team member and they will feel supported as they strive to provide the best care for the patient.
As a Landmark Recovery RN/LPN, you will spend time with patients every day while working alongside a Patient Engagement Specialist (PES). Your necessary skills will include being able to assess a situation, respond quickly in emergencies (seizures, falls, etc.), and perform basic functions such as taking vitals and administering meds. You also will act as a liaison between the healthcare providers and the patient/Landmark facility.
This job is never boring, and it is incredibly rewarding. As a Landmark Recovery RN/LPN, you will have a front row seat to watch your patients transform and take their first steps toward a brighter future – one of sobriety, hope, and health.
Patient Engagement Specialists (PES) are adaptable, observant, and passionate members of the Landmark Recovery team. As a PES, you will not be behind a desk; you will have the most daily interaction with Landmark patients as you accompany them to-and-from group time and meals. You are skilled at time management, comfortable with de-escalating conflict, and can think quickly on your feet. Our Patient Engagement Specialists are vital to the culture and operations of Landmark Recovery, and the role itself is also rewarding. You recognize that by providing support and helping to create a quality environment, your patients will be positioned to reach their full potential. And when your patients are successful, you will know that you took those daily steps toward recovery alongside them.
We offer flexible hours to fit your practicum and school needs, plus a dedicated recruiting team to coordinate placement on a national scale. You’ll be onboarded like a new employee and given hands-on observation of all clinical and medical aspects including:
