What's a Recovery Coach?

Imagine having a dedicated person with the experience and training to help guide you through recovery from an alcohol or drug addiction. That’s what a recovery coach does. Landmark’s coaches have first-hand experience with addiction and are certified to help you navigate the ups and downs of recovering from a substance use disorder. They serve as a trusted partner, helping to motivate and hold you accountable to your personal recovery goals. Our coaches support you when you’re struggling, celebrate you when you accomplish a goal, listen to you when you need someone to talk with and direct you towards long term recovery for a happier, healthier life.

Our Recovery Coach Program

Designed to be a year long program, our recovery coaches are available to anyone experiencing a drug or alcohol addiction. It doesn’t matter what stage of recovery you’re in, or whether you’ve already tried residential treatment. After an initial assessment, we match you with a coach, or certified peer support specialist, who will help you develop a personalized recovery plan.

Your coach helps you keep your recovery organized by sending you reminders for all your appointments and meetings. They’ll work with you to establish a crisis plan to help reduce the risk of a relapse, or help you handle a relapse if one occurs. Our recovery coaches will also be available around the clock for crisis intervention and support.

You will also gain access to our weekly skill building group, where you will be able to work with other Recovery Coach participants to develop critical coping skills, discuss successes, and deal with setbacks you may experience.

The Recovery Coach program includes:

  • 24/7 crisis support
  • Dedicated recovery coach
  • Personalized recovery plan
  • One-on-one coaching sessions
  • Group therapy
  • Supportive curriculum specific to your goals
  • Weekly skill building groups

What’s the Cost of Recovery Coaching?

Landmark works with most insurance companies, including medicaid, to help offset the cost of our Recovery Coaching program. For those who choose to cover the full cost of the program we offer payment plans and the ability to finance your treatment.

Many people view the cost of alcohol addiction treatment or drug addiction treatment as too expensive, but the truth is you can’t afford not to get treatment. Addiction takes a heavy cost on your health, relationships and life. Landmark Recovery’s treatment options can save your life.

Insurance Providers we Accept at Landmark Recovery

Landmark Recovery accepts most major health insurance providers on both a notional and local level.

A Network of Support You Can Count On

Your recovery coach will serve as an accountability partner, monitoring and tracking your progress using a specialized tool called the Recovery Assessment Scale. This measure was created to evaluate and monitor how healthy and strong your recovery is. You will have weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, where your coach reviews your recovery plan and assigns supportive curriculum based on your progress. Coaches can share recovery resources, make therapy referrals or recommendations for sober living accommodations and recovery-related activities.

Recovery Group Meetings

Our group meetings allow you to hear from others working towards long-term recovery. You’ll have opportunities to discuss what’s working or not working for you, and find out how other people are dealing with cravings, triggers and temptations. You’ll also find a network of people dedicated to your recovery, and willing to help you find activities that don’t involve drinking or using drugs.

While in our program you can always call your coach, or our support line as needed. We’re committed to your recovery, and helping you achieve a life beyond addiction. We’re not saying it will be easy, but our coaches have been where you are and can help you find lasting recovery.
