Las Vegas is known for being a party destination, but what the locals want you to know is that it’s more than just the Las Vegas Strip. Every single day, locals live their lives away from the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions and casinos. As a complex city full of neighborhoods, shopping plazas, and golf courses, Las Vegas is very much a “normal” city full of the same struggles and successes as other American towns.
One of the struggles that Las Vegas and the state of Nevada deals with is alcoholism and the consequences of this destructive disease. Landmark Recovery of Las Vegas is committed to helping locals receive affordable, effective treatment for addiction in their own city. As an addiction treatment facility, we’re the only one in Las Vegas that treats patients from the detox stage through to their graduation. Here’s a collection of alcohol stats in Las Vegas to give a brief survey of what regional alcohol use is like.
Las Vegas Alcohol Use Stats

In 2019, statistics showed that 92 people were killed from alcohol-impaired driving, representing 30.3% of driving fatalities.
